Payless BOGO Ends This Week

One week from today, the latest Payless BOGO sale will come to an end. I shopped it for a few hours a few weeks ago (yes, a few hours--I brought along some female cousins and we were all quite busy exploring the merchandise) and didn't land on two shoes I loved (they were out of my size in one) so I walked away with nothing. However, my sister bought a cute pair of purple wedges, and then returned to the store a week later to buy two more styles. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find any of the ones she purchased on the website, but I will tell you that one pair turned out to be only $3. Way to make me proud, Big Sis! Anyway, if you are like me and think you might have missed out on some steals, I wanted to let you know that there is still time to get a great deal on two pairs of shoes from Payless. Spring's guest designers include alive+olivia, Lela Rose and Christian Seriano. My favorites include these 'Downtown Girl Open-Toe Boots' by alice+olivia, which are new for Spring. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to see them in person but let's just say that I hope they live up to how cute they could potentially be on me!

*Deal of the Week* Alice & Olivia Booties

Payless has been subscribing to the trend of having established designers break from their own lines to do affordable designs for accessible stores. I love this partnership, which has also been employed by stores like Target and H&M, because it not only allows the designers to become household names, but it allows poor girls like me to have funky, trendy boots like these, by Alice + Olivia. Booties are a trend I haven't fully been sold on yet, and as such, have been reluctant to invest in a pair, even when they're really, really cute. I'm worried they'll become passe. I'm worried I'll end up wearing them with leggings (just kidding). But for $48, I think I can afford to splurge for these red 'Rivington Ankle Boots' or the gorgeous space-age 'Jane Back Zip' boot. There's also a grey sweater bootie for the same price, if that's your sort of thing. With so many a la mode styles for under $50, these just have be my Deal of the Week. And then through 05/05/08, you can get Free Shipping on orders of $50 or more! Both of these are great reasons to bulk up your spring looks and buy more than one pair. If your order is less than $50 and you don't want to pay for shipping, simply select one of their store locations by you and have your shoes shipped to the store- for free! No codes, no minimums.
