70s Platform Wedges from Skechers?

Last Friday I bought a 1970s-inspired dress during my massive shopping spree that made me crave some classic, simply wedge sandals. Probably the last place I would have thought to look was Skechers, which always makes me thing of sneakers and athletic flats. Yet, lo and behold: I went to the Skechers site to see about some new arrivals, and noticed that the sandal selection offered these "Modiste" sandals in addition to a range of comfy-looking thong, flat and wedge sandals. I think I just learned a lesson about jumping to conclusions about shoe brands.
