A discreet and comfortable stirrup solves that problem efficiently, leaving pants straight and smooth despite long hours of wear. I imagine this is one of those handy tools you won't be able to live without once you've had it awhile. I even have this problem with skinny jeans if I've walked around long enough, and I for one am sick of un-zipping and re-zipping by boots on the subway to make adjustments.
